Chickweed also known as Stellaria Media is a tiny, white, adorable flower with huge benefits! Known to cool inflammation, alleviate itching, calm rashes, relieve inflammatory skin conditions, and destroy precancerous skin cells, what is not to love about this plant? For a tiny flower, it sure packs a punch! We pair it with Broadleaf Plantain, which we grow on our homestead, to create this perfect marriage of plant matter and tallow. Broadleaf plantain is an all around winner for soothing rashes and itching, it is also known to support wound healing and skin irritations. We keep our formulation quite simple, 100% grass-fed and finished tallow and high quality organic jojoba and avocado oils that have been infused for many months to fully release the plant constituents. Many of our customers note that this balm improves the texture and even their skin tone, and some have even noted improvements in sun damaged skin.
